when i read my archives during break today.. i felt really strange.

almost like reading another person's blog.

snippets of my life, recorded, but mostly forgotten.

ben told me that my blog's archives made him laugh,

contributing to his existing muscle ache HAHA.

and he told me something that i already knew.

i was more light-hearted and sociable (?) in the past.

which was undoubtedly true - or so i feel.

WELL, as we get older.

some things, or our preferences change.

present day: i dislike the fact that i cannot blog freely without being questioned/judged and also hate to openly discuss about my feelings -.-

school has been really exhausting - and its only monday.

i just hope nothing goes wrong..

yesterday, it struck me how lucky i was.

i am loved, mostly happy, able to live by a reasonable weekly allowance, but sadly, stuck in my little bubble.

always complaining, always wanting this and that.

and then i realised, how selfish could i be - when there are so many out there being worst off than me?

taking things in their stride, dealing with issues and making an effort to make the best out of those rough times.

i don't know what else to write, but this definitely made me think a bit.

a whole new perspective to life.

my body finally succumbed to fatigue last night as i promptly fell asleep soon after i reached home.

POST FOC BLUES

its been almost a month since FOC ended :)

and i'm totally missing the FOC preparation days..
AGL trainings, flag design, buying identity materials, making identities, helping other groups with their identities, flag painting, clearing pumpings, filming videos, countless dance rehearsals, logistics buying, night walk recce, for logames people - getting their games proposals and log list done were essential - and so so so so so much more.

all these to make OUR FOC the ultimate one.
sacrificing a bunch of important things in return for the success of it.
family time, money and our supposedly 7 week holiday.
it was packed packed packed to the max, the days were going so fast.

now that its over, time has pretty much slowed down.
back to our mundane lives.
and recently, trainings have not resumed yet.. so..
the GLs have not been meeting up much, i guess.
although we do wait for each other to eat dinner together! but still.. =P
WE USED TO SEE EACH OTHER ALMOST 7 DAYS A WEEK!!
HAHAHA.

unfortunately renee switched sem this year, and i'm the only GL left in the wholeeeeee of MBIO 2.2.
SIGHS! time to bond with my classmates.

very cooperative, didn't give me a hard time - maybe cos i very fierce AHAHA.

what to expect.
1st time at sentosa in my near ending teenage life.. LOL.
this week has been packed to the maxxx!

i know that i've not been spending much time at home.
7 weeks of holiday; tell me which part of it i've been actually ENJOYING and RELAXING?
practically ALMOST every week of holiday is used up for FOC preparations, yesno?
and this is THE LAST WEEK for me to actually HAVE FUN.
so if you could actually 体谅 me and look at the situation in MY PERSPECTIVE,
just. give. me. a. break,
for the fact that school is reopening really soon.
i know i need my rest.
i know you want me to go home early.

LSCT FOC 09/10

was a success and a blast!

from GLs recruitment interview,

GLs training,

alumni event,

escarparate,

training camp,

prep camp,

all those shit we've been through together,

we have finally made it.

the 24 elites :D

seeds of our training has finally bore fruit!

being a LSCT GL is not easy.

you have to know how to cheer super loud,

dance, act, sing,

love planta, mud and water,

be super on and enthu,

eat fast, bathe fast,

run fast, think fast, act fast,

can tahan many pumpings,

have high tolerance and perserverance level,

observant, caring,

organise events,

be super high at all times

and be supportive of each other.

but most importantly,

know how to be a good team player.

basically, we are built for camps :)

through training i have bonded with the GLs.

i have made many good friends in the society.

these friendships will last long :D

congrats to all GLs as we have been promoted to SGLs!

woohoo! :)

i am suffering from post-FOC.

:( i feel so empty.

no more dance rehearsals,

no more buying of log with the logames people,

no more night walk recce,

no more welfare meetings online in the wee hours,

no more thinking of cheers for our groups,

no more flag painting,

no more testing of cheers by SGLs or AGLs,

no more identity making and shopping for materials,

no more eating dinner together late after dance,

no more trainings!

AWESOME JOB GLs!

and we must really thank and appreciate our seniors okay :)

thank you seniors for your guidance, patience and essential help throughout the FOC.

without your help, we would have trouble running FOC alone.

indeed, knowledge is power.

LOGAMES COMM,

i think you guys did most of the work okay, honestly.

suffering from aches from carrying heavy loads from the log room to your respective games venues and sunburns from working under the sun for many hours.

working so hard to make the night walk a success.

that strong determination deserves kudos.

without you important people,

there wouldn't be any cool games for the freshies to enjoy!

although this comm consists of only 2 people,

i am very glad that you 2 are not discouraged!

from this camp, i'm sure everyone agrees that food comm is actually

VERY VERY IMPORTANT!

WELFARE COMM,

bringing the morale up of the groups were very important, no?

being in welfare comm, isn't as easy as it seems.

impression is everything.

you can't show that you're tired, that you're not high, that you're not happy.

if not the freshies would be affected too.

we need to remember so many things.

freshies names, allergies, who went to the toilet,

who is injured, are they feeling unwell, so on and so forth.

i cheered till my throat went sore, and lost my voice!

but it was definitely worth it.

without you 3 strong men, honestly.

what would i do?

i would really die alone!

helping me to carry the heavy bag of freshies' belongings,

1.5L bottle of water, teaching cheers together with me,

taking care of the freshies and so much more...

after a little sneak preview of my timetable today,
i realised how time passes so quickly!

i'll be a year 2 at NP next academic year :O
so so so fast.
in no time, i'll be graduating, MUAHAHAHA.

this week has been pretty alright i guess.
i'll be going to school almost every day of my holidays.
but its okay cos i'll be rotting at home doing nothing anyway.
so its better to go to school to do something productive.

there's training tmr morning, omg.
i predict i'm gonna ache at some part of my body i never knew it could hurt so much.
but i'm looking forward to sunday for loooong talks/gossip session! :D
